Description
Buttermere is one of the most picturesque lakes in the English Lake District.
The wider Buttermere valley includes Crummock Water and Loweswater lake and village. These lakes are surrounded by the fells of Red Pike, High Stile, Grasmoor and Fleetwith Pike.
The name means ‘lake by the dairy pastures’ and the walk around the lake is one of the most popular low level walks in the Lake District.

Delivery
All our prints are sent first class using Royal mail. They are packaged in a sturdy cardboard tube so they will not get damaged. They come in an acid free cellophane sleeve with the certificate of authentication enclosed. If you order more than one print at the same time then you will only pay for one shipping cost. Our standard shipping cost is £4.45.
We can only ship to UK addresses through our website. We can also offer a collection service from our studio.
With the exception of the Wainwrights Fells Map, all our prints are unframed and are in either standard A3 (297mm x 420mm). These are standard sizes and will fit in most universal frame sizes from suppliers such as Ikea, Boots, B&Q, The Range etc. They include a white boarder to all sides. This enables you to display directly in the frame or in larger frames using standard sized mounts. The illustrations are printed on 250gsm heavy weight paper so can easily be trimmed to suit any size frame.
